At Voodoo Brewing Company Colorado Springs, we believe great beer tastes even better when it brings people together. Our community is at the heart of everything we do — from hosting local events and fundraisers to partnering with Colorado-based creators, small businesses, and nonprofits. We're passionate about supporting the vibrant Colorado Springs community that supports us, whether it's through local collaborations, volunteer initiatives, or simply providing a welcoming space where everyone feels like family. We're proud to have partnered with local charities and non-profit organizations to strengthen and uplift our community. Together, we've been able to turn compassion into action through a series of meaningful initiatives:

Fighting Hunger, One Pint at a Time: Supporting Care and Share

Though our business is making money on food and drink, we believe access to food and nutrition is an fundamental right. Food insecurity should not exist in this country and no child should know what it feels like to go to bed hungry while our society throws millions of pounds of food away per year. That's why Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado is the number one nonprofit we support, and why we're proud to be their (un)official beer partner.

Through our partnership with Care and Share, we donate and pour free beer for volunteers at their monthly VolunBeer events and at their annual fundraiser, the Beet Hunger Bash—a small way to say thank you to the people putting in the hard work to fight hunger across Southern Colorado.

Beyond events, we also donate leftover food from the pub whenever possible, helping ensure good food doesn't go to waste and instead supports those who need it most.

Care and Share provides food to individuals, families, children, and seniors across Southern Colorado, addressing food insecurity with dignity and efficiency. Their impact is local, immediate, and life-changing—and that's why our owner, Micah, is unapologetically obsessed with their mission.

For us, supporting Care and Share isn't about recognition. It's about standing behind an organization that shows up for our neighbors every single day and making sure we do our part to help.

We're grateful to Care and Share for the work they do, to the volunteers who make it happen, and to our guests who support a pub that believes good beer can do good things.

Racing for a Cause: Supporting Legacy Race Battling Breast Cancer

Supporting our community goes beyond the bar. One organization especially close to our hearts is Legacy Race Battling Breast Cancer—our second favorite nonprofit to support and a partner we're proud to stand with year after year.

We've sponsored two Legacy Race 5Ks, helping set up and support the race bier garden, and we'll continue to do so. In addition to race sponsorships, we've also hosted fundraisers at the pub and donated portions of our sales to further Legacy Race's mission.

Legacy Race Battling Breast Cancer is dedicated to supporting individuals in the Pikes Peak region who are facing breast cancer or are at risk. Their mission focuses on raising funds that directly benefit local women, men, and families, providing essential services, resources, and community support throughout the breast cancer journey.

Thanks to their incredible supporters, over $100,000 was raised last year alone, with every dollar donated back into Southern Colorado. Those funds helped support survivor retreats, meal deliveries, post-operative garments, wig vouchers, community health education, and groundbreaking research—real, tangible support for people who need it most.

Supporting the Legacy Race goes beyond logos and race banners. It's about standing with our neighbors, honoring survivors, supporting families, and helping ensure that no one in our community fights alone.

We're grateful to the Legacy Race for the work they do and for allowing us to be part of something that truly makes a difference. To everyone who has raced, volunteered, donated, or joined us at the pub for a fundraiser—thank you for helping us turn pints into purpose.

Protecting Our Water, Supporting Our Beer: Sponsoring the Brewshed® Alliance

Great beer starts with great water. That's why we joined the Fountain Creek Watershed's Brewshed® Alliance, an organization working to protect and enhance the watersheds that make local craft beer possible.

The Brewshed® Alliance brings together water resource experts and craft brewing professionals to engage the community in conversations and actions that lead to cleaner, healthier water. Through education and events, the Alliance connects people to the shared values of water stewardship and locally made beer, reminding us that what happens upstream matters in every pint.

Their work helps bridge the gap between science, sustainability, and the craft beer industry—making water protection approachable, relevant, and community-driven.

By sponsoring the Brewshed® Alliance, we're supporting efforts that keep Fountain Creek and surrounding watersheds healthy for future generations. From educational events to community conversations, we're proud to stand alongside an organization that understands that protecting water resources isn't just good environmental practice—it's essential to great beer.

Each year, member breweries come together to create a collaborative Brewshed® beer, with proceeds benefiting watershed protection efforts. This annual collab serves as both a fundraiser and a conversation starter, helping spread awareness about water stewardship one pint at a time.

Giving Back with the Air Force Academy Firefighter Association andThe Ronald McDonald House

Community isn't just something we talk about—it's something we actively support. In 2023 and 2024, we were happy to partner with the Air Force Academy Firefighter Association to help raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that provides critical support to families during some of life's most challenging moments.

During both events, a portion of our total sales was donated to support the Association's fundraiser, turning a night out for great food and craft beer into meaningful support for families in need.

The Ronald McDonald House provides housing, meals, and comfort to families with children receiving medical care, allowing them to stay close when it matters most. We're honored to have played a role in helping the Air Force Academy Firefighter Association support this important mission.

Thank you to everyone who came out, raised a glass, and helped make these nights a success. Together, we proved that a local pub can make a real impact.

Supporting Teller County Regional Animal Shelter for Subaru's Make a Dog's Day

We believe the best days are made better with good beer, great food, and giving back to the community. That's why we were excited to support the Teller County Regional Animal Shelter as part of Subaru's Make a Dog's Day event.

For the day, we welcomed shelter dogs into the pub, giving our guests the chance to meet, play with, and even adopt some truly amazing pups—all while enjoying a craft beer and a bite to eat. The pub was filled with wagging tails, happy guests, and a lot of love.

Events like Make a Dog's Day help shine a spotlight on shelter animals who are looking for their forever homes. By partnering with Teller County Regional Animal Shelter, we were honored to help create a relaxed, welcoming space where meaningful connections could happen naturally—sometimes over a pint.

We're grateful to Subaru for organizing such an impactful event, to the shelter staff and volunteers for bringing the dogs and sharing their stories, and to everyone who came out to support the cause. Whether guests left with a new furry family member or simply helped spread awareness, every interaction made a difference.
